Hydrotek Hydroponics designs and manufactures a range of professional agricultural and horticultural production equipment under the brand name “Wachsen Professional”, utilizing certified Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) principles. All Wachsen Professional products are suitable for use in accordance with their intended design and will not expose a user to risk that jeopardizes their safety or the quality and effectiveness of the product, when used as intended.
All materials used in the manufacture of Wachsen’s quality products can be traced to their point of origin to ensure integrity in the process at every step. The primary, raw material used is 304 stainless steel which surpasses all prevailing government and food safety standards. All steel is stamped and inspected to ensure its quality. All plastic materials used in the production of Wachsen products are constructed of food-grade polypropylene and are also inspected and authenticated to ensure compliance to our standards.
Each piece that comprises any part of a Wachsen product is identified, cut, and approved by the appropriate department prior to assembly. At any stage in the production process, any individual part can be identified. Quality control to our technical specifications is performed before sending them along the manufacturing chain, while being inspected every step of the way. All metal components are deburred for safe handling. All welds are inspected for strength and quality. All materials are cleaned and free of decontaminates before leaving our facilities. We insist upon quality control audits, conducted by third-party agencies, three to four times per year to make sure that all of our quality control measures are in place and being fully implemented. We do this not because we have to, but because we want to make sure only the best products leave our facilities.
Our technical workforce is highly trained and qualified according to our strict, quality control standards. Our mechanical engineers oversee the execution of production and all operations to our exacting specifications. All equipmen tused in the manufacture of Wachsen products is the latest in industry technology and maintained at or above manufacturers’ recommendations. Our workplaces meet or exceed all existing health and safety standards and current mandated regulations. Wachsen respects all local, municipal, regional, provincial, state, and/or federal labor laws, practices, and standards. These are applied and honored both in the spirit of and to the letter of the current regulations in force. On these matters we will not compromise.
